What is medical sapphire abrasion?
Using a sapphire-encrusted plate and ultrasonic speed, medical sapphire abrasion works to gently, yet thoroughly remove dead skin cells at the surface of the skin. Unlike many skin removal processes, medical sapphire abrasion does not use any type of suction. This allows a more effective, deeper treatment that doesn’t come with all the pain, bruising or pulling that are so common with suction-type treatments.
Because the skin is the body’s largest detoxification organ, we also include a soothing facial lymphatic drainage massage. This works to help flush away toxins, retained fluid and to reduce facial puffiness (particularly around the eyes). As an added benefit, medical sapphire abrasion naturally improves the efficacy of SkinCeuticals® skin products and cool light therapy by removing the hard, dry cells at the surface of the skin. This allows treatments to penetrate deeper into the skin so they can work more effectively.

Cool Light Therapy
Cool light therapy is often referred to as the European women’s best kept anti-aging secret and is one of the best drugless acne treatments available.
